About this site
How AI Models Work is an independent educational site for people who want to understand how modern AI systems work—without needing a computer science degree.
AI is everywhere now, but most explanations are either too technical or too vague. Here, I try to explain concepts in plain English, using simple examples and clear definitions. I focus on the “why” as much as the “what,” so the ideas actually stick.
You’ll see topics like language models, training data, tokens, hallucinations, fine-tuning, safety, and how model updates change real-world behavior. When something is uncertain or still being debated, I’ll say so.
This site is independently written and is not affiliated with OpenAI or any other AI company.
